GGO has gone through rapid growth in recent years, currently comprising almost 200 staff and close to $1 billion in annual charitable payout. Your Role The Officer, Strategy and Implementation Management in the GGO Office of the President, supports division- and team-level strategy development and implementation, including related measurement, learning, and evaluation (MLE) efforts. This position will also serve as a liaison with cross-foundation strategy and MLE efforts. Within GGO, you are responsible for contributing to a team of divisional strategy support staff working to ensure that GGO has strong practices and performance in gauging strategy progress against key outcomes, researching key strategy-related topics as they emerge, and bringing innovative thinking and approaches to developing or refining strategies. You support leveraging insights to develop high-quality, engaging learning experiences for the division, and to facilitate effective cross-team collaboration. For GGO teams, you act as a key collaborator and resource to strategy, planning, and management counterparts in program teams to add capacity and value to their work. You lead and/or support the framing of program strategy and the measurement of progress against goals and indicators, as well as provide support for meetings and updates with foundation leadership that require strategic framing and content. Finally, you support and engage in foundation initiatives on impact measurement, portfolio optimization and reporting. This role reports to the Deputy Director, Measurement, Learning, and Evaluation, Office of the President, for the Global Growth and Opportunity division. This is a 36-month limited-term position with competitive base compensation and a generous benefits package, based in Seattle, WA. Relocation assistance is provided for domestic or international relocation to Seattle, WA if hired for this position. Your Experience
*Applicants for this role will only be considered if they are able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship. The salary range for this role is $140,200 to $210,200 USD. We recognize high-wage market differences in Seattle, WA and Washington D.C., where our offices are located. The range for this role in these locations is $152,800 to $229,200 USD. As a mission-driven organization, we strive to balance competitive pay with our mission. New hires salaries are typically between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint.
