The Staffing and Scheduling Associate supports the scheduling and staffing process of the more than 1,000 patient care employees in the nursing division and other patient care areas. This position independently reviews, manages, and maintains an in-depth knowledge of assigned system applications, related departmental policies, procedures, and business operations, staffing and scheduling principles, collective bargaining agreements. The Staffing and Scheduling Analyst collaborates with and advises executives, directors, department staff, and management in ongoing analysis and design of scheduling practices resulting in optimized use, training and support processes within the clinical units. This position offers system API support to all leaders and users of the API application

This position reports to the, Manager of the Central Staffing Office, and works closely with the Nursing Finance Manager and, NACs, Human Resources, CNE, CFO, Nursing Directors, and Nurse Managers. The majority of this work is performed within the API Healthcare software and products.

  • Managing priorities/deadlines
  • Communication-written & verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
  • API Staffing and Scheduling
  • Experience managing projects in a hospital setting
  • Technical aptitude - ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Familiar with healthcare industry and system dynamics
  • Scheduling experience
