The Opportunity:

The Executive Sourcing Partner is a pivotal role within the Executive Recruitment & Pipelining function, accountable for sourcing and engaging with top-tier talent at the Executive level (typically the most senior 0.5% of roles at Roche). You will identify and proactively connect with external leaders using a rigorous, comprehensive methodology, guaranteeing that we secure the very best talent available in the market.

You will present your work at a standard that ensures the Executive Recruitment & Pipelining function can build a brand on par with our most prestigious external partners. Your remit will be global, with a specialized focus on Europe or the Americas region.

You will collaborate with teams such as Executive Recruitment, Market Analysts, Talent Strategy, our most senior leaders, broader recruitment teams, and external candidates. You will support the Executive Recruitment Partners in advising Hiring Managers on their recruitment strategy, leveraging your market expertise and networks. Hiring managers will rely on your proficiency in executive candidate attraction and sourcing methodologies to ensure a diverse pool of exceptional candidates. You will be adept in delivering state-of-the-art selection and assessment methodologies to recruit resilient, high-performing leaders who can excel in our working environment.

Who you are:

  • Demonstrated experience in executing life sciences Executive Search projects at the highest organizational levels, with a focus on presenting diverse shortlists of exceptional candidates to Executive Recruitment & Pipelining Partners and hiring managers.

  • Consultative approach; capable of credibly advising senior stakeholders on leadership topics, from identifying leadership competencies and experiences that align with specific strategies to locating such leaders.

  • Background in a top-tier search firm and/or in-house executive recruitment role.

  • Thorough and methodical approach to market mapping, ensuring the identification of all potential candidates.

  • Expertise in Boolean search techniques for effective candidate identification.

  • Proficient in developing and implementing multi-channel sourcing strategies to attract top talent.

  • Skilled in attracting senior executives to opportunities, adept at identifying and engaging with the best external talent in a compelling manner.

  • Experience in D&I sourcing, with the ability to identify and attract top diverse talent and a thorough understanding of the global hiring landscape, emphasizing D&I at the senior executive level.

  • Exceptionally strong interpersonal skills, capable of building credibility and partnering with senior leaders internally and externally, combined with a proactive, make-it-happen mentality.

  • Agile and experienced in navigating complex, matrixed environments, balancing the needs of diverse stakeholders.

  • Proficient in utilizing various ATS/CRM systems to manage candidate information and track sourcing activities effectively.

  • Proven track record in leveraging executive recruitment and talent data to generate meaningful talent insights.

  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree and/or possess equivalent experience in Executive Search from a leading Executive Search firm or an in-house Executive Recruitment function. Your excellent interpersonal skills enable you to thrive in a high-performing, matrixed, and multicultural environment.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA- Off Campus is between $112,100 and $208,300. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA- Off Campus is between $141,800 and $263,300. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
