Senior Electrical Engineer (10+ years)

Coffman Engineers' is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with ten or more years of experience in consulting engineering and project management. Applicants must be well versed in all aspects of electrical systems design and specification. The desired individual should be comfortable consulting to architects, owners, and general contractors, and have a desire to work as part of a multidiscipline engineering team.

Requirements Include:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of consulting Electrical Engineering experience.
• Registration as PE (required).
• Must have SKM, ETAP, or similar electrical modeling software experience.
• The focus of the experience must be in the power industry associated with electrical engineering and design of Industrial, higher education, healthcare, and/or commercial projects.
• Federal project design experience is desired.
• Must be familiar with electrical/energy codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, NESC, IESNA, IECC, etc.)
• Experience with lighting design is desired, but not required.
• Experience with Telecom, A/V, Cybersecurity, and security designs is desired, but not required.
• Project Management experience (required)
• Must be able to obtain US Security clearance.
• Must have experience in supervising, estimating, and negotiating contracts.
• Must be able to supervise and manage projects of varying sizes.
• Excellent leadership, supervisory, and writing and verbal communication skills.
