Position Summary This application is for Fall 2025 hiring only.

Location Supervisors are undergraduate students that supervise the Center for Teaching and Learning's Graduate Support location, provide logistical support for the academic and professional support offered to UNM students, and ensure smooth operations for users and consultants. Location supervisors undergo extensive training in preparation to perform the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee operation of CTL alongside the Supervisor and Assistant Coordinator

  • Conduct appointment scheduling and inquiry responses using in-house software

  • Provide efficient customer service to students, faculty, and staff via in-person, phone, and email

  • Provide coordination and support for CTL graduate consultants as they meet with students or host group programming

  • Disseminate information to users regarding CTL services and programs, and guide students to other resources as necessary

  • Support administration of weekly trainings at CTL

  • Participate in Student Manager meetings and trainings on Friday afternoons throughout the semester

  • Make informed decisions and take appropriate actions to maintain the integrity of CTL programs without direct oversight or supervision

  • Act as liaison between CTL personnel and other campus organizations

  • Assist staff on assignments and projects as needed

Requirements for Consideration

  • 10-20 hour work week availability

  • Attendance at orientation training (on a Sat the first week of classes)

  • Attendance at weekly Student Manager meeting and weekly trainings (Fridays 2-5pm)

  • Enrollment in a minimum of 6 credit hours at the University of New Mexico in a degree seeking program

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
