CMS Chemical Warehouse Supervisor

Are you passionate about customer operations management and detail-oriented in processes? PPG Aerospace is looking for a Chemical Management Services (CMS) Warehouse Supervisor! You will be the primary contact to facilitate all warehouse operations and address overall issues related to chemical management. This position is located fully onsite in our Pooler, Georgia facility, and you will report directly to the CMS Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all contract obligations and warehouse operations
• Establish and achieve inventory targets according to ASC's working capital goals
• Lead and manage supervisors, coordinators, analysts, material handlers, and truck drivers to ensure customer support in training new team members essential to the chemical management program
• Provide solutions and support for supplier issues affecting the PPG chemical management program, find solutions with ASC on DRP and PMF materials, and collaborate with ASC and corporate purchasing teams to strengthen supplier relationships and build strategic partnerships
• Evaluate the most effective methods for distributing, transporting, and storing chemicals using FIFO methodologies
• Beneficial experience includes: business process analysis and improvement, Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, quality assurance, strategic sourcing, team facilitation, materials management, QAD, enterprise resource planning (e.g., SAP), and cost reduction

Qualifications

• Two (2) years in a lead, supervisory, or managerial role in Supply Chain, Production, related experience or education required
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
