We are seeking a Senior Organizational Development Advisor to serve as a strategic driver who specializes in enhancing the overall effectiveness and performance of the organization through comprehensive planning and implementation of culture, change, and leadership initiatives. This multidisciplinary role combines human resources, business strategy and organizational behavior to drive sustainable growth and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role will be responsible for designing and executing organizational development initiatives, managing culture action plans, navigating internal partnerships and deploying a measurement strategy in partnership with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and business leaders.

What You Will Do

  • Utilize significant OD and HR expertise and best practice information to drive progress on culture, organizational change enablement, leadership development, performance enablement, and team and organizational effectiveness initiatives.

  • Design and execute OD/OE interventions to solve business challenges.

  • Provide expert consultation with leaders at all levels of the organization.

  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) in the design, development and implementation of OD programs, resources and strategies tailored to meet organizational needs, in alignment with strategic direction

  • Create deliberate and meaningful organizational change management efforts to align talent and actions to the cultural aspiration

  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to assess organizational gaps and efficacy of interventions. *

  • Synthesize data and organizational insights to create enterprise wide and division specific culture action plans that enable a thriving organization to accelerate business results

  • Contribute to fostering a high-trust organizational culture to optimize employee experience and fuel high performance

  • Project manage organizational effectiveness and leadership development initiatives, informed by the Talent and Organizational Effectiveness department and Workforce Optimization Team, including support of Principle Organizational Development Advisors

  • Facilitate effective communication across teams and divisions fostering collaboration and conflict resolution

  • Partner with HR COEs to design and deploy leading edge culture, change, leadership, performance and team effectiveness resources to meet a variety of learning needs that include experiential, in-person, virtual, on-demand, and just-in-time learning

  • Stay on top of industry trends, best practices, and emerging methodologies in organizational development

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in organizational development, human resources or business management OR
  • Master's degree and 3+ years of experience as stated above.
  • Experience consulting with all levels of management, including senior leaders, to mature and improve organizational culture, change capabilities and team effectiveness while driving desired business outcomes
  • Significant experience in creating and delivering effective presentations and report outs to leadership teams (including senior leaders)
  • Experience in implementing positive organizational change strategies, plans and resources that deliver on business results and cultivate a thriving culture
  • Experience leading and managing projects, programs or initiatives

Bonus Points (preferred qualifications)

  • Degree in Organizational Development, Industrial and Organizational Psychology or other related field preferred.
  • Advanced degree in relevant field preferred.

Salary Range

At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs.Our base salary is part of a robust Total Rewards package that includes an Annual Incentive Bonus*, 401(k) with employer match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and competitive health benefits and wellness programs.

*Based on annual corporate goal achievement and individual performance.
