Position Summary

We are seeking an IT intern to join our team, here in our Denver Tech Center office!

Responsibilities

The intern will be assigned to assist professional staff with providing computer hardware, software and technical support to various company employees. Under the direction of a professional IT Manager and Desktop Support Technician, the intern will be responsible for the following scope of work duties:

    Supporting PC hardware components, desktop operating system software, and application software (Microsoft Office 2010);
  • Monitoring Service Desk support requests;
  • Providing end user support in various levels of technical and non-technical staff
  • In addition, intern may assist hardware deployment, computer equipment refresh and any hardware project that may require lifting 20 -30 lbs and/or moving equipment to various storage spaces.

Requirements

  • Applicant must have awareness of the PC hardware components, desktop operating system software, application software and Windows OS 2007 or higher. Apple/Android devices familiarity is also preferred but not required.
  • Student must have a keen interest in computer-based information systems and technology. Interested applicants should possess excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.
  • Candidate should have the ability to research and understand technical documentation, and an understanding of how to apply various technical resources.
  • Ability to perform tasks such as providing operating systems and application software installations and upgrades.
  • Able to interact effectively with management, staff and other RAH personnel, and work independently, and/or as part of a team.
  • On the Job training will be provided.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $20.00 - $25.00/hr
  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
  • Bonus Type: Not eligible

This position is temporary and not eligible for benefits.
