About the role:

A successful Card Fraud Onboarding Sr. Project Manager coordinates the activities of a group of Onboarding resources to onboard, maintain, or support the Card Suite Pro card fraud product. The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for project and program management leveraging employees from technical and/or non-technical disciplines with responsibility for results including costs, methods, timeframes, and quality. Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations. Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organization objectives, implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results, and establishes and ensures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements. Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas and/or clients. Requires the ability to change the thinking of or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations without damage to the relationship. This level requires the ability to communicate with all levels of management.

About the team:

Card fraud is an ever-present threat in today's world. The selected candidate will be working with our business partners and Onboarding Implementation-Conversion Analysts from the Card Fraud to implement Card Suite Pro.

What you will be doing:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Builds and provides direction and day-to-day operations to resources supporting ongoing onboarding projects.
  • Oversees and provides guidance to the personnel responsible for the organization's portfolio of projects. Defines and develops project / program management best practices, processes and policy to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and goals.
  • Partners with multi-departmental leadership and other stakeholders to locate opportunities and develop and prioritize projects according to relevant measurement criteria.
  • Maintains the efficiency of important aspects of the project management process such as planning, scheduling and budget and risk assessment. As needed will provide executive management with forecasts of available resources and program status.
  • Mentors other project and program managers on the team to ensure all projects within the scope of Card Fraud Onboarding are delivered within defined scope, quality, time, and cost requirements
  • Works with other members of Onboarding leadership team to establish division business strategies that align with corporate goals and objectives; effectively communicates strategies translating them into actionable items.
  • Demonstrates leadership by establishing and articulating a clear vision of success and how goals and objectives will be achieved.

What you bring:

  • Requires bedrock project management skills and industry knowledge, including but not limited to, PMBOK, Six Sigma, Waterfall and Agile methodologies, ISO, CMM, MS Project, Planview, ServiceNOW etc
  • Strong analytical, statistical and problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skills
  • Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner including presentations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner
  • Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
  • Knowledge of financial services industry and specifically knowledge of FIS products and services
  • Demonstrated skill in managing project budgets and timelines
  • Ability to set clear expectations, manage team performance and build high morale among team members
  • Required work hours: 40
  • Weekends required: No
  • Travel percentage for this role: Less than 5% if needed
