Security Supervisor - Education Safety

As a Security Supervisor - Education Safety in Redwood City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

Our Security Officers are tasked with overseeing designated areas within an educational setting, contributing to a secure environment. You will conduct regular rounds, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role requires a valid driver's license in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $27.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 2 years of security experience.
• Applicants must have at least 5 years of security experience.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required as per AU Driver Policy Requirements.
• California Security Professional Guard Card is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
