Position Summary

The College of Pharmacy is seeking an Office Assistant to join our Office
of Curricular Affairs. The student employee will assist with various programs
and course related projects as well as some activities for our Continuing
Pharmacy Education (CPE) office. The selected candidate will be responsible for
maintaining files, photocopying, scanning priority documents, and working with
confidential materials. Additional duties include setting up classroom and lab
materials, administrative support for co-curricular activities and assessments,
assisting with inventory control, data entry with spreadsheets and other
third-party software, assisting with answering phones, and greeting visitors to
the Office of Curricular Affairs. This position requires the ability to create
professionally worded documents, including written correspondence, emails, and
explanatory directions. Special projects and other duties may be assigned as
needed.

A Work Study Award for all semesters is required for this position.


Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Proofreading and editing skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Communications/customer relations experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - including basic skills in Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities through effective time management
  • Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
