About the role:

This role will track, review and communicate pending and passed regulations, agency guidelines or directives to impacted lines of business and assist in setting priorities for regulatory issues that must be addressed by the business.

About the team:

The AI and Compliance Governance team drives agile Compliance and Regulatory risk mitigation across the Enterprise. We partner with other FIS corporate functions and lines of business to address risk exposure or control breakdowns by ensuring appropriate remedial actions are taken in a timely manner to reduce the residual risk to acceptable levels.

What you will be doing:

* Maintains knowledge of applicable financial laws and regulations.
* Communicates detailed requirements to LOB, validate solution approach and monitor status.
* Conduct compliance assessments and provide direction on any deficiencies detected by those assessments.
* Meets with business unit Compliance Officers on a regular basis for status updates on compliance issues.
* Monitors LOB compliance activities to verify that regulatory compliance deadlines and requirements are met.
* Participates in training promoting compliance Risk Assessment awareness.
* Identifies areas of potential improvement.
* Provides updates for periodic reports.
* Prepares and approves internal and customer communications covering compliance issues (bulletins, position statements, monthly reports, etc.

What you will need:

Bachelor's degree in business administration or law or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

* Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner
* Comprehensive knowledge of financial software products, and the associated Compliance risks across banking regulations, anti-money laundering, or anti-corruption
* Excellent analytical skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and risk assessments simultaneously.
* Ability to understand and apply learned concepts
* Demonstrated ability to plan and complete work within tight time limitations
* Ability to apply creative problem-solving techniques and tools to compliance issues
