Electrical Controls Engineer

An Electrical Controls Engineer job in Evendale, OH 45215 is currently available through Belcan at one of our key aerospace clients. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience.

Additional info: In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in troubleshooting facility-related disruptions, including console systems, controls systems, and electrical systems, such as load banks and generators, as well as providing design support, conducting analysis of electrical systems, and PLC programming.

Please note that this is an onsite support role during second shift.

Job Duties:
*Review issues from the previous shift / day and work with other client electrical engineers to troubleshoot the problem and get the engine back to flow state. This will require analyzing major electrical systems, controls systems, and console systems.
*Collaborate with client electrical engineers to reduce controls / console issues in test. This includes writing software to update config selection for each test cell.
*Assist in designing, integrating, and supporting various electrical test enabling / facility systems (cables, harnesses, exciters, connectors, backshells, power suppliers, VFDs, motor starters, etc.).
*Provide high quality service and flexibility of tasks based on business needs.
*Work with a team of engineers, outside contractors, and internal client company resources to complete the mission.

Required Qualifications:
*Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
*Five or more years of experience in Design, Product Test, Production Support, or Facilities Engineering role, or related experience
*Must be a US citizen

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
*Experience working in an aerospace test or production environment
*Experience with designing, integrating, and/or supporting electrical test enabling hardware and facility systems
*Experience with programming PLCs

Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $85,000-95,000, however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
