Genesis10 is currently seeking a Central Lab Microbiology Manager with our client in the healthcare industry located in Overland, KS. This is a full-time position. Compensation: Up to $110,000.00 per year (based on years of experience). Sign On Bonus is available, up to $10k with a two-year commitment. Additional incentives are available, which are up to 10% of base pay. Shift: Days Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day laboratory technical and non-technical microbiology resources and operations of the market laboratory to meet organizational and regulatory requirements Assist Regional and Division Directors in achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, personnel management, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and interdepartmental activities Concurrently monitor resource utilization, including payroll, supplies and expenses, client volume and revenue variation reports, outpatient volume reports, mileage and expense logs; participates in MOR Provides leadership in the coaching, guidance, training, and talent development of staff Screen, interview and select qualified individuals for open positions within the department Requirements: 3-5 years' supervisory level (Supervisor, Manager or Director) Microbiology experience required in a central or high-volume bacteriology laboratory setting A 4-Year/Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology NAACLS Accredited Certification (ASCP, AMT, etc.) If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
