Quality Control Auditor

Job Purpose:

Sanmina is looking for an organized, hard working, and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our Final Audit Inspection team. The QC Inspector will be responsible for inspecting electronic equipment; including visual mechanical, solder workmanship, and documentation accuracy.

Nature of Duties:

• Perform Quality Control inspection of new and repaired products prior to shipment
• Monitor processes and operating system for the production and repair of customer product
• Support customer data and special reporting requests such as first articles and certificates of compliance
• Perform periodic audits of the production operation in compliance with ISO and TL requirements
• Support product and process improvements to meet quality and operational performance goals

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of related experience
• Soldering experience or certification is desired
• Working knowledge of IPC-A-610, J-STD-001standards
• Working knowledge of ISO9001/TL9000 standards
• Working knowledge of Lean, Six Simga, 8D Problem Solving, and 5S
• Proficiency with computer software programs (Microsoft Office, Agile)
• Excellent communication skills and detail oriented
• Has willingness to learn, takes initiative, and offers improvement ideas
• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
