The Cencora Privacy team is seeking a talented Senior Privacy Manager to support its Managed Service Organization ("MSO") line of business. As the Senior Manager, MSO Privacy, you will leverage your background in privacy, risk, and compliance to identify, assess, and manage risks to sensitive health data managed by the MSO and its supported physician practices. In this highly visible role, you will partner with stakeholders across Cencora to execute risk mitigation strategies and influence security, business and technology decisions. The person in this role will also be responsible for daily oversight of all ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, maintenance of, and adherence to the organization's policies and procedures covering privacy in compliance with HIPAA and other applicable privacy regulations (collectively, the "Privacy Laws"). PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help establish the Cencora privacy program strategy in collaboration with legal counsel, information security, management, key departments/stakeholders and committees. Work collaboratively with the MSO and support physician practices to implement the Cencora privacy program across all elements of an internal control framework including risk identification, policies and controls, training, etc., that meet regulatory requirements, and changes in market conditions Assist with ongoing integration efforts as they arise through consistent acquisition growth Partner with the Information Security Office and other departments to manage the implementation and completeness of data inventory and mapping efforts and implementation of records retention across the MSO network. Define metrics, KPIs and KRIs with tracking and reporting capabilities at various levels within the MSO organization. Work with the business to implement a Digital Governance Strategy. Help ensure the compliance of Cencora online properties and ensure robust patient and commercial data practices are in place Support the development and implementation of Cencora AI Governance by the Office of Privacy Support Cencora responses to regulators and other governing authorities Participate in ongoing compliance monitoring of third-party vendors, including through Business Associate Agreements, Data Processing Agreements and Cencora products/service offerings to ensure all privacy concerns, requirements, and responsibilities are addressed. Provide feedback to the Office of Privacy to shape the future direction of the Cencora Privacy Program based on insights from your business and functional stakeholders Develop and provide privacy training & awareness collateral, in coordination with information security and training, to promote a HIPAA-compliant and Privacy by Design culture and awareness within the MSO and provider environment. Produce bespoke training based on business needs Monitor and report on escalated compliance/non-compliance of initial and ongoing privacy training initiatives across the enterprise. Support the business to manage these incidents as appropriate. Serve as an advocate to advance business enablement by fostering cooperation and consistency of efforts across the Office of Privacy and Cencora business functions and entities. Stay current with potential changes in external requirements including regulatory requirements, privacy controls frameworks, and industry best practices to update and improve the privacy program. Perform related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
BA or BS degree in Business or related field. Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related experience in privacy compliance matters, with a focus on privacy in a provider setting. Some experience of AI Governance would be beneficial. The role will support Cencora's U.S.-based Managed Service Organizations and deep knowledge of HIPAA and U.S. state privacy laws is required. Law Degree and/or certification as a privacy professional (IAPP, etc.) are preferred.

Demonstrated strategic planning and leadership skills; ability to motivate and influence Cencora team members at all levels across the organization to comply with regulatory standards. Excellent analytical, problem solving and negotiating skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees and Business Unit representatives. Ability to work effectively and efficiently in pressure situations and demonstrate a high level of flexibility in a rapidly changing environment while handling complex assignments simultaneously and meeting critical and short deadlines. Ability to work independently with strong, strategic planning and organizational skills; self-motivated and directed, adaptable, team focused and detail oriented. Strong knowledge of project management techniques, best practice reengineering knowledge and experience for compliance processes. Demonstrated success in meeting business unit requirements in a fast paced, multi-faceted, highly regulated and diverse environment. Demonstrated experience in writing, communication and presentation skills. Personal computer skills to include competency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and OneTrust.
