We are searching for a talented Advanced Practitioner for Clinical Cardiac/Structural Heart.

Hours: 40 hrs 8:00A - 5:30P

Shift: Day - no weekend, holiday or call.

Location: Fall River, MA

• Perform diversified duties in the care of patients assigned under direction of individual attending physicians under the rules and regulations of Massachusetts governing Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner practice.
• Provide a variety of inpatient care and services including but not limited to Cath, EP, Structural Heart, and general cardiology patients in the CVICU, CCU, ICU, CVSD, Telemetry or other inpatient settings under supervision of individually assigned Physicians as part of daily activities.
• Respond to internal emergencies for cardiac patients.
• Other duties include but not limited to coordinating transfers and discharges.

• Physician Assistant: Bachelors Degree in a related field is required. Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required.
• Nurse Practitioner: Masters of Science Degree in Nursing is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required. Nurse Practitioner Certificate/Physician Assistant Certificate is required.
• Physician Assistant /Nurse Practitioner: Qualified in all basic and advanced cardiac support standards as set by the American Heart Association.
• Possess the ability to care for critically ill adult patients with a broad range of medical problems.
• Possess the maturity, self-confidence and ability to follow complex patient management plans as directed by the attending Cardiologist.
• Preferred 1 to 3 years' experience.
• NP Massachusetts Nursing License authorization to practice in an expanded role.
• CME requirements as needed. PA
• Physician Assistant License authorization to practice.
• CME requirements as needed.
