Description:

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator assists firm leadership and the marketing team to develop materials in alignment of the firm's business development and marketing goals. Supports efforts in social media, brand management, conferences and tradeshows, internal programs and events, onboarding, and information management. Ensures adherence to company policies, marketing material standards, and provides support for a variety of marketing and business development activities.


Essential Functions:


  • Assists in the coordination of tradeshow and conference needs (logistics and coordination, staffing help, information/promotional materials, display booths, signs, communication, etc.)
  • Assists in the preparation and execution of special events for clients and internal programs
  • Supports onboarding activities related to marketing including business cards, resumes, etc.
  • Embrace and implement brand standards across the organization
  • Assist with graphics, writing and proofreading for a variety of projects including internal and external campaigns, advertising, and public relation efforts as requested
  • Contribute to CRM maintenance and data entry related to clients, consultants, personnel, and mailing lists; support maintenance of content library including boilerplate information, project data, and new colleague stats and experience.
  • Supports social media efforts and campaigns at direction of communications team
  • Schedules meetings, conference calls, site visits, etc. as directed to coordinate marketing and business development activities
  • Reviews and carefully proofs all assigned tasks to develop the highest quality communication material and submissions
  • Prepares and participates in client meetings, marketing planning, and presentation planning as needed
  • Actively participates in industry events to improve industry knowledge, develop relationships, and enhance the professional image of the firm
  • Offers assistance, work sharing, and expertise to other marketing support colleagues as needed
  • Provides input for business development strategies and marketing data to assist in enhancing the group's and firm's image, develops information required for pursuit of business opportunities, and supports the development of collateral materials.


Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE




  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) software
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign)
  • Knowledge of marketing, branding, and advertising practices
  • Knowledge of Client Relationship Management Software
  • General knowledge of engineering practices and the markets they serve

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:




  • A four-year degree in Marketing, Communications, PR/Advertising, or a related field
