Servicing Cash Specialist

What you'll do:

• Responsible for accurately and efficiently dispositioning of incoming and outgoing checks to/from the appropriate parties.
• Ensure funds are posted accurately and timely by the subservicer.
• Identify, research, and resolve borrower loan payment issues between the sellers and subservicer.
• Research and resolve unidentified checks that are being sent to subservicer as needed.
• Review subservicer invoices to determine accuracy of billing items.
• Respond to customer (internal and external), seller, and subservicer requests via email and telephone, assisting in research when appropriate.
• Continuous process improvement (system and process related).
• Other duties as assigned.

What you'll need:

• High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong aptitude for detail, accuracy, and organization.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of financial reconciliation and balancing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.).
