Role Summary

This role is the primary connection with customers of EQ Shareowner Services. This position partners with a Relationship Manager will represent our organization to our clients. The Account Associate role is a key function to support EQ's growth objectives and offers the individual a great opportunity for future career growth with EQ.

  • This position is responsible for day to day client inquiries and requests, providing reports and lists.
  • Client balancing inquiries, updates in Client Authorized signer, assisting with document collection and answering/placing inbound & outbound phone calls to customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Strong project management, analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Customer service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and recommending solutions
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, innovatively, and creatively while exercising sound judgment
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Strong time management and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
  • Solid problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviors:

  • BA/BS degree is preferred
  • Financial services and/or securities industry experience
  • 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: trust, financial services, legal or account management
  • Experience in communications and interactions with individuals at various levels within an organization, including but not limited to senior leaders.

Compensation:

  • $21.00 - $22.00 hourly
