Acara Solutions is seeking a Technical Recruiter to work with our client in Malta, NY. This is a hybrid position.
Pay: $32 - $35/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Location: Hybrid in Malta, NY (Monday, Wednesday, Friday are Remote)
Job Type: Contract- 1 year (Possibility to convert)
Overview
Reporting to North America Talent Acquisition Leader, this role is responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies to attract top talent. This position is responsible for managing searches for various technical functions, career ladders and roles. The incumbent will demonstrate mastery of Talent Acquisition, including cross-functional recruiting strategy development, candidate pipelining, stakeholder management, assessment, selection and on-boarding. They will mentor others across the organization in Talent Acquisition strategies and approaches and may lead small, tactical project teams.
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage talent acquisition activities including all requisition and staffing related processes. Ensure onboarding and assimilation activities are seamless. Develop and execute sourcing and recruitment strategies. Manage large scale recruiting projects. Provide a superior experience to all stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement a strategic talent pipeline and build and maintain this candidate pool for various job profiles. Ensure that the interview process is conducted efficiently and professionally. Include thoughtful and rigorous interview assessments to develop a meaningful point of view about a candidate's alignment with a particular role or function.
  • Consult with hiring managers, fellow Staffing professionals and HRBPs throughout the course of a search to influence decisions regarding strategy, profile development, assessment methods and final selection.
  • Manage compensation and offer negotiation processes. Ensure all background, drug screening and reference checks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Develop, maintain and communicate a broad understanding of the external market and how it may influence Talent Acquisition strategies. Develop Behavior and Competency-based job descriptions and perform benchmarking activities.
  • Responsible for requisition management and reporting activities. Develop, generate and distribute TA related reporting. Provide analysis on data to enable key business leaders to make sound decisions regarding talent strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies, processes/practices and federal, state and local employment and labor laws.
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field or a combination of education and related experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of directly related work experience as a full-cycle technical recruiter.
  • Experience recruiting for IT roles (SAP, PLM, MS D365, etc.)
  • Minimum 2 years Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Minimum 1 year experience with Interviewing techniques
  • Minimum 1 year experience recruiting exempt level positions
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Advanced Hi-Tech, fast paced large organization experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of compensation philosophies and management as it relates to hiring
  • Advanced skills using talent assessment and selection tools including Competency and Behavior Models
