Overview

Job Purpose

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Content Creator to help craft the future of storytelling and content production in the format agnostic era. This individual will independently manage projects from ideation through delivery, creating high-quality, engaging content that aligns with NYSE's brand and strategic goals. Reporting into the NYSE Strategic Planning Manager, the role will collaborate closely with the NYSE Content, Media Partnerships, and Distribution teams to innovate on what modern content can be and how it is consumed. The ideal candidate will have strong storytelling abilities, excellent project management skills, and a proven ability to deliver across a variety of platforms.

Responsibilities

Ideation and Strategy

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the NYSE and its partnership network to brainstorm and conceptualize content ideas that align with the NYSE's mission, brand identity, and target audience.
  • Develop creative briefs, content strategies, and campaign concepts that push the boundaries of traditional content formats.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, audience preferences, and emerging technologies to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.

Planning and Pre-Production

  • Write scripts, outlines, and storyboards for video, multimedia content, and experimental formats.
  • Leverage project management systems (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Trello) to organize workflows and track progress.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for content projects, ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop content capture plans that require minimal footprint and mobile equipment operated by a single individual.

Production

  • Appear on camera and deliver engaging, clear, and concise content.
  • Occasionally operate production equipment including as cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
  • Use software like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects to make basic edits to video and multimedia content.
  • Create content using mobile first platforms (e.g. Canva, Instagram, TikTok, CapCut).

Publishing and Distribution

  • Collaborate with NYSE teams, including Distribution, Communications, Events, Marketing teams to publish content.
  • Ensure content is optimized for each platform, including best practices for digital environments.
  • Explore innovative distribution methods to increase reach and engagement.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Production, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in content creation, production, or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects from ideation through delivery.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams to develop innovative content.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Trello) to streamline workflows.
  • Experience covering financial markets, business, or technology in a journalistic or content creation capacity.
  • Expertise in video production, editing software, and content management systems.
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and creative skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with LiveU technology, including its mobile app, for live content production.
  • Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin/Korean.

New York Base Salary Range

The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $72,100 - $97,900 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
