Function:

Information Technology Job Summary:The IT Business Systems Analyst - II participates in initiatives of all sizes across EHSQ. You are a self-starting individual with an aptitude for creative and critical thinking. You use your business expertise and enjoy collaborating with partners and helping implement positive change.

You are adept at eliciting requirements and can follow through with creating specifications for a vendor and complete the testing cycle with the business community participating in continuous improvements. You are capable of working on bugs with our users and presenting so they are actionable by the vendor. Experience in major implementations/upgrades is in our future.
You love to collaborate with techies and subject matter experts to add to the vision. You balance tradeoffs with partners between development time, usability, and performance needs. You think critically, deliver, and execute effectively and collaborate cross-functionally with Business and IT peers. You nurture positive, professional relationships, acting as a trusted teammate and a respectful challenger.

  • Participate and learn about developing business solutions through the systems life cycle focusing on eliciting requirements and testing with the user community in our EHS system (VelocityEHS).
  • Learn to capture business needs and support creative solutions. Participate in delivering functional and technical requirements to the vendor.
  • Participates in projects in consultation with IT Security, Infrastructure Team, Business Owners, and Vendors. Support projects through each phase as an active participant.
  • Assist in ensuring that all deliverables are completed in accordance with Project Management methodology; contribute to the communication of status.
  • Execute testing and perform quality assurance to keep the Business Systems current & reliable.
  • Learn the operational activities on projects and enhancements, including monitoring resource needs, preparing documentations, status reports, key issues and/or change controls.
  • Assist in maintaining the overall health of business Systems at CF through system issue tracking and cross-functional alignment.
Incumbent Attributes
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology/computer science
  • Years of experience: 3+ years of related professional work experience may be preferred to complete all essential job functions.
  • Other unique job-relevant attributes:
    • Learning the change process, attending change board as an observer.
    • Participate in learning about systems capabilities and business operations.
    • Business test execution experience.
    • Good basic oral and written communication skills with organization and time management skills.
    • Ability to learn, demonstrate and apply knowledge of the business to deliver. improvements in solutions and processes to better align IT Service with Business goals.

The estimated base pay for the position is typically between $66,330 - $87,495

The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range.

In addition to base pay, an incentive program is available to all full-time employees, and a comprehensive benefits package including two medical plan options, a health savings plan with a company contribution and a match, dental and vision benefits, a well-being incentive program, 401(k) Plan which provides a protentional of receiving between 10% and 13% of employer's contribution, life and disability insurance, paid time off programs and much more!
