General Job Description: ACCO Engineered Systems, founded in 1934, is a leading provider of design, installation, and service of mechanical systems. ACCO is looking for a dynamic and experienced Lead Quality Assurance Tester to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our information technology services. The Lead Quality Assurance Tester will be responsible for overseeing a team of offshore and onshore Quality Assurance (QA) professionals, ensuring that our software and applications meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Reporting to the Director of Data and Field Services, this role plays a critical part in evangelizing the importance of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across the organization. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of offshore/onshore QA professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure high-performance levels and continuous improvement.
- Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA processes and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Collaborate with stakeholders to plan, execute, and oversee UAT efforts, ensuring that software meets end-users' requirements and expectations.
- Test Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive test strategy that includes test planning, test case creation, execution, and reporting.
- Automation: Drive the adoption of test automation tools and frameworks to increase testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in the QA and UAT processes.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Communication: Evangelize the importance of SQA and UAT throughout the organization, advocating for best practices and standards.
- Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on QA and UAT metrics, providing regular updates to the Director of Data and Field Services.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in leading and managing QA teams.
- Strong understanding of SQA and UAT principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with test management and automation tools.

Hours: This is a non-exempt position from Monday through Friday. Work hours begin and end between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm with a one-hour break for lunch and two rest breaks. Eight hours per day is required and other occasional overtime may be necessary per business needs. Travel: 0 -5% of the time to and from the primary office to regional branch offices. Competitive Wages: $89,500 to $122,750 Annual Salary.
