We are looking for a responsible Supervisor to oversee the workflow at our facilities. The ideal candidate will not just be someone who supervises the work of others. A supervisor is also responsible for coaching, resolving issues and serving as a link between team members and upper management.

Position offers a starting salary range of$100,700 - $121,900 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience

What You Drive at DTNA

  • Responsible for planning and allocating manpower to support the daily requirements of responsible production areas.
  • Supervise the process and performance of production area to ensure quality, delivery, and cost KPI's are achieved.
  • Promote and execute Truck Operating System problem solving techniques across teams in an effort to improve areas efficiency.
  • Administer facility policies, procedures and safety requirements. Conduct daily inspections for work areas to assure compliance with safety, housekeeping and environmental policies.
  • Support the Training matrix by continually evaluating and developing Team Leader and employee skill level as required to increase flexibility and meet safety goals.
  • Support the development of the plant strategic plan for improvement and implementation of Truck Operating System /Lean production system within the targeted operating unit.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing by using Continuous Improvement and 5S tools.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • BS/BA and 4 years of relevant experience OR 6 years of relevant experience leading teams of people in a high volume manufacturing setting in lieu of a degree
  • 2 years of Supervisor or Team Lead
  • Microsoft Office and other Microsoft desktop applications
  • Good communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work any shift
  • An attached resume is required

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • Knowledge in Shoptech
  • Experience leading project teams
  • Paint knowledge
  • IMS experience
  • Experience in union environment
  • Knowledge of Kronos or other Time Attendance Systems
  • Experience in a production environment
