Business Systems Analyst III - Oracle EPM Cloud (Hybrid)

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst III with excellent knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud to join our growing Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Systems team at First Citizens Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our Oracle EPM solutions to support financial planning, consolidation, and reporting processes. You will collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to enhance system functionality and ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Lead the design, configuration, and administration of Oracle EPM Cloud applications (Planning, PCMS, Narrative Reporting and EDMCS).
• Gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
• Support system enhancements, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Partner with finance and accounting teams to streamline budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Manage integrations between Oracle EPM and other enterprise applications.
• Provide user training and documentation to ensure adoption and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations.
• Work with Oracle Support to resolve application issues.
• Understand the dependencies and relationships between different components of the Oracle EPM Cloud system.
• Stay up to date with latest functionality releases and provide recommendations for improvements to existing processes.
• Provide support to business users in a timely manner.
• Support On-Premises Hyperion Essbase applications when needed.
• Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output.
• Identifying Requirements - Determines system requirements and communicates them through the use of specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Identifies issues that affect system processes, and assists in correcting. Ensures compliance through testing and analysis.
• Reporting - Produces advanced reporting based on data analysis, user input, and system testing. Identifies patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. May develop process enhancements based on analysis results.
• System Support - Provides expert technical support for systems by responding to escalated inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Implements recommended modifications and enhancements. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units, offering guidance on systems and data output.

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience maintaining, supporting, and developing Oracle Cloud EPM solutions.
• Strong expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud modules (Planning, PCMS, EDMCS, Narrative Reporting, Freeform, etc.).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation for process improvements
• Experience with Hyperion Essbase
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, banking knowledge a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders in Finance, Accounting and IT.
