As the full time Construction Field Workforce Director at Journey Construction, you will serve as a strategic leader overseeing self-performed work in carpentry, steel, and general construction. This pivotal role requires you to lead and grow these business units while ensuring profitability, efficient staffing, and robust field operations. You'll collaborate with various departments to pursue projects, develop long-term strategies, and cultivate a skilled workforce. Your responsibilities also include managing costs through financial oversight and project monitoring, while implementing best practices to maintain high safety and quality standards.

To thrive as the full time Construction Field Workforce Director at Journey Construction, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects. A strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment is essential, as is the ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and structural drawings. Successful leaders need to embrace the core values of Journey Group and excel in prioritizing multiple tasks while meeting stringent deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Procore is crucial, alongside strong oral and written communication skills.
