Seasoned customer-facing consultant with established leadership skills directing a diverse team of advisory and delivery talent. Provides onsite, hands-on client engagement management which involves the day-to-day running of a client engagement. Helps teams flourish by guiding efforts, directing talents and expanding knowledge and skills to deliver strategic solutions to clients. They are the on-the-ground leaders, directing work efforts, analyzing and reviewing proposals from the team, providing appropriate solutions to problems, and making decisions on the way forward by acting as liaisons between the client and the delivery team.
Focused primarily on successful delivery but utilizes their position as a trusted advisor to explore other client needs, working with the team to create proposals to address them. Principal Consultants keep in close contact with clients throughout the duration of the project as part of their official duties.
With a focus on Organization Change Management (OCM), leads and oversees the definition, development, implementation, and evaluation of change management strategies, plans, deliverables, and ensures the successful transition and adoption of organizational changes.

Responsibilities
  • Client Delivery:
  • Facilitate strategy, roadmap, design, and planning workshops
  • Ensure that customer expectations are appropriately set and managed
  • Lead technical project teams in the delivery of consulting service offerings
  • Drive and manage the objectives, requirements gathering, project tasks/milestone, project status, dependencies, and timelines, to ensure engagements are delivered successfully and on time while meeting the business objectives
  • Breaks down the problem into manageable segments, identifies the factors that affect the problem and decides how to approach the project
  • Final editing and sign off on project deliverables
  • Presentation of deliverables to client executive management
  • Possesses an in-depth understanding of the Prosci OCM Methodology to effectively:
  • Design and implement comprehensive change management strategies, plans, and roadmaps to support organizational transformations
  • Assess the impact of changes on employees and stakeholders and develop strategies to mitigate potential resistance and ensure successful adoption
  • Ensure change management activities are integrated with project plans and initiatives
  • Understands and can apply Ahead delivery methodology while leveraging project management processes and tools
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of change management initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the progress and impact of change initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Business Development:
  • Support business development by conducting client discovery meetings that help to identify/qualify opportunities and generate a strawman proposal
  • Represent service offerings during the sales cycle, including project scoping, proposal development, and presenting proposals to clients
  • Develop and promote relationships with clients and present technical solutions to C-Level executives
  • Develop and promote service offerings throughout the organization and during the sales process
  • Support and lead OCM client solutions in collaboration with team members/colleagues involved in the proposal process
  • Build, develop, and enhance relationships with stakeholders (internal/external) to drive alignment between business processes and objectives
  • Practice Development & Thought Leadership:
  • Develop and enhance AHEAD Advisory services offerings, including consulting offerings and deployment services
  • Technology thought leader and evangelist
  • Maintain a broad knowledge and understanding of the current and anticipated future state of the IT marketplace including IT trends, technologies, and standards
  • Mentor to team members
  • Build and lead a team of change management professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
  • Foster a culture of engagement and collaboration within the change management team and across the organization.
  • Support and lead initiatives that enable employees to learn and adjust to new tools and processes
  • Ensure and facilitate training for team members so that they have the necessary skills and resources to succeed in their role
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in the change management and professional services delivery
Qualifications
  • Senior-level consulting experience
  • Minimum 15 years of experience as senior information technology leader overseeing transformative modernization initiatives (e.g., cloud adoption, automation, platform engineering, agile-at-scale adoption)
  • Strong understanding of business measurement frameworks (e.g., OKRs)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle principles
  • Minimum of five years of executive technology consulting experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar discipline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated Business Acumen
  • Ability to solve complex, abstract problems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, good listener, ability to connect with different personalities
  • Executive presence
  • Demonstrated experience as a technology change agent
  • Prosci Certification and experience in managing and delivering Organization Change Management initiatives across multiple industries with a strong focus on technical transformations
  • People leadership and development with a focus in career growth and team transformation
  • Creation of and involvement in proposal creation and RFP responses
  • MBA is a plus

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings ("OTE") for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
