Position Description
Responsible for providing representation, analysis and counsel on legal and policy matters. Relies on in depth knowledge, experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Assumes some leadership roles for certain projects.
Essential Job Tasks:
Provides advice to Authority personnel regarding a variety of issues.Prepares, reviews and interprets contracts, leases, deeds and other legal documents.Conducts legal research on a variety of issues.Represents the Authority regarding claims brought against it.Represents the Authority regarding various legal matters in local, state and federal court and administrative and regulatory proceedings.Assists with information requests and document management/preservation.
Position Requirements *Will consider Attorney I or II.
Attorney II
Bachelor's Degree + 2 years experience.Must have Juris Doctorate.Must have South Carolina Bar License.Must have interpersonal skills, knowledge of federal, state and local laws and court system; research skills; organized, and excellent communication skills.
Compensation Information:
$102,560 - $128,200 (min. - mid.)
Attorney I

$82,520 - $103,140 (min. - mid.)
