Packing Associate

Staffmark is looking for a reliable Packing Associate to join a local food supplier in Church Point, LA. If you're dedicated, hardworking, and ready to contribute to a team, we want to hear from you!

Schedule: 5:30 AM - Until Finished

Pay: $11.50/hr

As a Packing Associate, you will be an essential part of the packaging process on the assembly line, primarily packaging sausage. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring products are packaged accurately and meet quality standards.
• Monitoring packaging equipment for optimal performance and reporting any issues.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including adhering to food safety regulations and cleanliness standards.
• Following production schedules to ensure timely completion of packaging tasks.
• Working efficiently in a team environment to meet production goals.

Requirements:

• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in temperatures ranging from 32F to 36F.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the team.
