*A local Workplace Technology company in NW Portland is hiring multiple Audio Visual (A/V) Technicians to join the team for a great opportunity!*
*Job Summary:* This company is an workplace design and consulting company, specializing in workplace furniture, space planning, consulting, and technology that helps our customers transition into the future of work. Make an immediate impact on an exciting and rapidly growing Workplace Technology team that is at the leading edge of audio visual solutions, structured cabling, and communications platforms. In this position, you will apply your expert installation experience, methods and techniques for Audio Visual equipment in world-class commercial spaces. *Job Duties:* * Install audio-visual, teleconferencing, corporate video, control systems, low voltage, voice/data cabling, structured cabling, fiber optic, or related systems. * Utilize hand tools of the A/V and electronic trades, including wire strippers, crimpers, soldering tools, scaffolding, hoists, pulleys, attachment devices, and unistrut steel support. * Install complex A/V systems such as projectors, projection screens, control systems, cameras, video distribution systems, microphones, speakers, wall & ceiling mounted systems, A/V racks, A/V rack cabling and terminations, video walls, displays, and other A/V related equipment. *Qualifications:* * 2-4 years of experience in Audio Visual installation, structured cabling, Low Voltage Technician or related fields in commercial construction. * State of Oregon technicians prefer to possess or acquire an Limited Energy Class A license - preferred * A strong working knowledge of TIA and BICSI Standards; including installation, troubleshooting and service. * Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including standing, kneeling, climbing ladders, and lifting 50+ lbs. * Familiarity with installation tools, including soldering equipment, wire strippers, and construction tools. * Must have your own vehicle and valid drivers license - as you must be open to occasional travelling. ***If Interested:* *Please apply to the job application! * *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
