A local Workplace Technology company in NW Portland is hiring multiple Audio Visual (A/V) Technicians to join the team for a great opportunity! In this position, you will apply your expert installation experience, methods and techniques for Audio Visual equipment in world-class commercial spaces. Job Duties: * Install audio-visual, teleconferencing, corporate video, control systems, low voltage, voice/data cabling, structured cabling, fiber optic, or related systems. * Utilize hand tools of the A/V and electronic trades, including wire strippers, crimpers, soldering tools, scaffolding, hoists, pulleys, attachment devices, and unistrut steel support. * Install complex A/V systems such as projectors, projection screens, control systems, cameras, video distribution systems, microphones, speakers, wall & ceiling mounted systems, A/V racks, A/V rack cabling and terminations, video walls, displays, and other A/V related equipment. Qualifications: * 2-4 years of experience in Audio Visual installation, structured cabling, Low Voltage Technician or related fields in commercial construction. * State of Oregon technicians prefer to possess or acquire an Limited Energy Class A license - preferred * A strong working knowledge of TIA and BICSI Standards; including installation, troubleshooting and service. * Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including standing, kneeling, climbing ladders, and lifting 50+ lbs. * Familiarity with installation tools, including soldering equipment, wire strippers, and construction tools. * Must have your own vehicle and valid drivers license - as you must be open to occasional travelling. **If Interested: Please apply to the job application!
