Position description

The Division of Rheumatology, Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is currently recruiting for a full-time postdoctoral position. This position is available immediately in the Yiu Laboratory.

A postdoctoral scholar position is available for a highly motivated scientist at the University of California, Los Angeles to focus on immune cell development. Our group investigates normal and abnormal T and non-T cell development to target autoimmunity, autoinflammation, and immunodeficiency. We employ a multi-faceted approach including cell biology, genome editing, and single-cell genomics, utilizing multiple models such as primary cells, induced pluripotent stem cells, organoids, and humanized mice.

The ideal candidate will take initiative in designing, executing, and advancing research projects while actively engaging with interdisciplinary teams. Applicants who exhibit self-motivation, a passion for science and medicine, excellent communication skills, and a positive and solutions-oriented approach will be prioritized.
