Description

Join our team as a Curriculum Systems Analyst and play a pivotal role in shaping student success from enrollment to graduation. The Curriculum Systems Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of student records, coordinating degree progress and completion and managing key processes related to commencement and student certifications. This role works closely with academic divisions, advisors, and other departments to resolve degree audit issues, manage graduation requirements, and ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and award completed programs, identifying any outstanding requirements. Coordinate and monitor students' progress toward degree completion, collaborating with Academic Deans (ADs), Advisors, and other staff to resolve degree audit discrepancies.
  • Assist with graduation/commencement related planning and processes. Develop and implement communication strategies to keep students and staff informed of critical information and deadlines. Manage post-ceremony communication and follow-up with graduates and internal stakeholders.
  • Administer student records updates to including but not limited to, program changes, registration overrides, grading adjustments, and course drops/withdrawals, ensuring compliance to privacy regulations, institutional, state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure the accurate printing and timely distribution of diplomas and certificates to graduates, adhering to all relevant deadlines and quality standards.
  • Leverage reporting tools to analyze and interpret data related to student records, degree completion, and graduation trends.
  • Generate reports for academic and administrative departments, providing actionable insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely verification of student degrees and certifications for third-party organizations, including the National Student Clearinghouse, state licensure boards, and other relevant entities.
  • Provide coverage and support to the Records Team as needed, ensuring seamless operation within the department.

Minimum Qualifications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong ability to generate, interpret, configure and analyze data reports, using tools such as Excel, or institutional reporting platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in all tasks, especially in data management and record-keeping
  • The ability to research, analyze, and resolve issues independently
  • Clear and efficient communication, conveying complex information to diverse audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize conflicting demands
  • Proficient in software applications (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations) and adaptable to new technologies

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Associate degree
  2. 1 year experience in higher education, preferably in student services i.e. admissions, advising, registration and/or records.

Salary
Salary will be determined based on years of experience and review of internal equity.
