Job description

As a Purchasing Clerk, you will be a key player in our organization's operations. We are
looking for someone who is highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with
exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. If you have a passion for

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Communicate with external vendors to complete the purchase order process
from start to finish, including placing orders, tracking shipments, and resolving
any issues.
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that all purchasing needs are met
i.e. updating customer service regarding the status of open orders and gathering
forecasts from the sales team.
* Verify that confirmations match the purchase orders and resolve any
discrepancies with suppliers.
* Perform buying duties when necessary.
* Monitor open purchase orders daily.
* Purchase order confirmations.
* Inbound tracking.
* Update price list as necessary.
* Keeping detailed records of all purchases, including supplier information and
pricing.
* Collaborate with team members to support accounts and workload on day-to-day
operations, including setting priorities, organizing, scheduling work, and problemsolving.
* Clean up processes and systems
* Perform other duties as assigned by management.
General Requirements:
* 1-2 years of experience as a buyer is preferred.
* A high school degree is preferred.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Intermediate Excel skills are required.
* Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Highly organized and detail oriented.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to think outside the box and make decisions that are not black and white.
* Strong ability to multi-task.
* Experience with Mac and Sage a plus.
Job Type: Full-time non-exempt hourly
