Overview:

As the Logistics Supervisor for Utilimaster (A Shyft Brand) based in Landisville, PA, you will be accountable for optimizing manufacturing processes, troubleshooting production problems, and planning and designing manufacturing plant floor layouts to ensure equipment and materials are located and coordinated efficiently.

You'll be deeply integrated with our manufacturing team, with a mandatory daily commitment to GEMBA practices that drive continuous improvement. Additionally, you'll work in tandem with Operations to develop logistical improvements and design targeted solutions to address tooling and equipment repairs issues.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Logistics Team Leads and Associates and establish clear expectations
• Oversee supervisory administrative functions and ensure accountability through servant leadership
• Develop innovative logistics, inventory and materials management processes and optimize productivity
• Implement streamlined delivery routes and visual management systems for successful assembly
• Stay aligned with customer needs while cultivating cross-functional relationships
• Resolve material flow failures by implementing corrective actions

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in logistics or related discipline
• Five or more (5+) years of materials supervisory within a complex materials environment, OR a High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of materials supervisory experience as a substitute for a degree
• Project management skills
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft 365, and network applications
