AMSOIL INC. is looking to bring on a highly talented Digital Product Manager to our Digital team. In this role you will be responsible for managing features and products within the customer-facing digital experience by identifying customer needs, both individual consumers and B2B partners. This involves creating a technology product strategy, building product road maps, and prioritizing development teams. This also includes focusing on product strategy for the AMSOIL ecommerce platform storefronts and mobile applications. Core Responsibilities
- Effectively translate business strategies into product strategies, road maps, and product specification
- Help manage the creating and maintenance of user stories and business requirements for new features and enhancements
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, user experience (UX) resources, project managers, digital marketers and other relevant eCommerce and business teams
- Analyze and provide reporting metrics to inform leadership of both product impact and business growth and to help drive day to day decision making
- Consult as subject matter expert (SME) with business stakeholders on digital product solutions
- Partner with UI/UX and Digital Operations teams to evaluate and improve the online user experience across web properties
- Participate in the IT strategic and operational planning process to achieve the organization's business goals
- Establish goals, objectives, and operating procedures in accordance with the organization's IT Governance strategy
- Assess and communicate risks associated with IT investments
- Manage financial aspects of the role, including purchasing, forecasting, maintenance agreements/contracts and spending reviews
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's or associate degree in field of Information Technology, Marketing, Business or another related field
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in product management, preferably managing products on web, software, or product delivery
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
- Proven self-starter with experience managing IT projects
- Proven success analyzing complex data sets, leveraging analysis, and providing recommendations to make data driven product decisions
- Proven success prioritizing new feature launches based on competitive analysis, industry trends, emerging technologies, and company vision
- Track record of project execution
- Analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
- Experience with and strong understanding of the software development cycle, design research, and web analytics
- Strong prioritization, project management, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, both verbally, and in writing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing enterprise-level eCommerce platforms, preferably in a direct-to-consumer (DTC) and/or B2B environment.
- Previous experience working in the automotive parts, manufacturing, or retail industry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of commerce architectures, APIs, and mobile-first strategies.
- Knowledge of mobile app development frameworks (e.g., React Native) and mobile-specific product strategies.
- Understanding of SEO, site search optimization, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and web performance best practices.
- Familiarity with personalization platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization, Evergage) and digital marketing technologies (e.g., Google Analytics, Tag Manager, CDPs).
