OverviewThe Microsoft 365 Category Management Team is responsible for developing and driving the programs, acquisition motions, and GTM investments necessary to nurture, strengthen, and grow the base of consumer subscribers and deliver against revenue goals across direct and partner channels. As the M365 Cross-Channel Business Insight Manager, you will be the central driver for understanding in exquisite detail the M365 performance within all sales funnels, uncovering insights into not only what happened, but investigating and creating clarity for why. You will be the advocate for broad understanding of business insights, analyzing key business drivers and surfacing new opportunities. You will proactively work with business stakeholders across multiple disciplines, including product group partners, finance, and regional and global sales & marketing teams to apply those insights to today's business operations and help develop the strategies and investment for the future. ResponsibilitiesPerformance Analytics & InsightsMonitor financial and sales-funnel metric performance signals across acquisitions and renewals, leveraging statistical analyses, predictive analytics, and financial modeling techniques to identify and evaluate changes in trend and versus plan. Identify areas of concern and develop and share insights and implications with the stakeholder community to inform business decisions and improve reporting efficiency. Ad-Hoc AnalyticsApply curiosity and structured thinking to analyze data and business results in a dynamic environment, escalating concerns with recommended actions. Identify Opportunities for GrowthLeverage business insights and overall understanding of the impact of go-to-market motions to identify and evangelize new opportunities of growth for stakeholders. Help land opportunities as changes to plan at WW and Regional levels. Forecast and Outlook AccuracyPartner with Finance and category leads on accurate and well documented assumptions for performance target setting, budgets, and forecasts by sales funnel at WW and Regional level. Create shared understanding of the targets, drivers, and assumptions among WW and Regional category leads. Monitor and improve accuracy through regular updates and ongoing processes improvements. Ensure Data IntegrityContinually monitor data for anomalies that could affect metric accuracy and performance insights. Work with data owners to correct errors and address inconsistencies and irregularities in data. Drive Improvement and EfficiencyPromotes methods that create efficiency in analytics and reporting, ensuring data is readily discoverable and interpretable. Scalable tools and processesCreate efficiencies in data access and self-serve abilities among stakeholders via analytics and reporting that are reusable, readily discoverable, self-service, and directed to meaningful interpretation of data that drive business decisions and impact across teams. Develop and/or enhance tools and reports using Excel, PowerBI, Adobe Analytics and help implement new business processes to better manage data.
