We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Vascular Surgery team at MedStar Health Medical Center at Chevy Chase. The Medical Center at Chevy Chase provides access to specialists from MedStar Georgetown University Hospital Center, MedStar Washington Hospital Center, and MedStar National Rehabilitation. Our expanded health care facility offers both primary and urgent care, as well as complex medical services.

This role will be Coverage of vascular surgery inpatient service in-house (perform physical assessment and develop a plan of care, H&P's, coordinate preop consults and orders, admit patients from ICUs, transfers, readmit. Discharge patients and coordinate follow ups and testing needed) as well as daily IMOC and discharge rounds. They will be the independent APP in the clinic and will do daily rounds with the attending physician.

The shifts will be 4 10's throughout the week (Monday through Friday). Days depending on the needs. No weekends.

The ideal candidate will have background experience in Vascular surgery and new grads are welcome to apply!

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education/Training

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program or NP program.

• Experience

• License/Certification/Registration

• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.
