What The Role Is

Identify process improvement opportunities and efficiency gains for mortgage lending. This includes how technology is used, the work flow of the file and communication with all parties in the loan transaction. The design and delivery of training materials and training programs will be an important aspect of this job. Creating consistent, reproducible procedures throughout the application process is important to increasing efficiency.

How You will Make an Impact



  • Design and modify as needed the workflow process for the Encompass roles.
  • Prepare and implement new processes and workflow enhancements as may be required by regulatory changes, vendor and technology changes as well as providing support for continued productivity and service level improvements within the group.
  • Project related responsibilities include, but are not limited to UAT testing and development of systems and processes, working with IT and the Mortgage Production Staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Complete all required compliance training. Maintain knowledge of and adhere to Cadence Bank's internal compliance policies and procedures. Take responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.


Who You Are



  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong working knowledge of the mortgage application and mortgage processing workflow with the ability to apply technology when appropriate to drive efficiencies.
  • Strong working knowledge of Encompass and third party vendor services
  • Encompass administrative experience preferred.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Visio, and knowledge of online training platforms (e.g. Zoom).
  • Ability to travel for onsite meetings.
  • Works cooperatively with others.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
