Job Overview:

Reporting directly to the IT Director - ITS Americas, this role is focused on M&A, divestiture and footprint projects within Ingersoll Rand Americas business units. This role will own the migration
experience through understanding the work, hands-on and indirect internal/external party management to accomplish the work and communicating instruction, progress, risk, and financials to stakeholders. The role is perfect for engaging individuals who enjoy moderate travel, making a difference, and providing exceptional customer outcomes.

Responsibilities:

M&A & Footprint Changes


  • Business Analysis: Perform discovery of newly acquired sites or changing sites and work with functional leaders and site representatives to identify strategic business direction, identify projects costs and build business cases.


  • Vendor Engagement: Work with vendors to create negotiated Statements of Work that meet both project requirements and IT standards.


  • Project Management
    : Lead and organize M&A and footprint consolidation/changes from a technology standpoint.


  • Execution: Provide hands-on and/or direct local and remote resources to implement solutions.


  • Training: Promote end-user adoption and technology learning through delivery of informal and formal training.




Best Practices Implementation


  • Standardize & Simplify: Work with functional areas to understand, evangelize, build business cases, and implement organizational best practices in locations.


  • Be a Partner: Support our functional counterparts (Finance, Sales, HR, etc) with appropriate technologies to achieve the overall synergies of the business case.


  • Hit the Numbers: Track and improve cost estimation and project financial performance.




Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree.


  • 3+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst
    , preferably in a manufacturing environment.


  • Proven experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP
    , Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills





Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements


  • Ability to work with multiple sites
