Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking an associate with least 7 years of experience to join the Antitrust & Competition Practice Group in our Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will have experience with antitrust support for mergers and acquisitions, including managing "clean team" protocols, drafting risk-shifting covenants in purchase agreements, advising clients on reportability of transactions under the HSR Act, coordinating foreign filing analyses, preparing premerger notifications, and representing clients in "second request" investigations and similar matters. Qualified candidates must also have experience with commercial litigation, including managing discovery and drafting briefs.
We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated associate, who has demonstrated an ability to thrive in a sophisticated practice in a busy, collegial environment, to assist with advancing the long-term strategic objectives of the Antitrust & Competition Practice Group. AmLaw 100 or government experience preferred. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.

Pursuant to the Washington, DC Pay Transparency Law, the expected salary range for this Washington, DC based position is between $350,000 - $390,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
