GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Marketing Manager - Essilor Instruments will develop and execute marketing plans to support the Essilor Instruments division, working closely with the commercial team and BU partners to align with business goals. This role requires B2B marketing experience, ideally in medical devices or instruments, with an understanding of brand-distributor relationships and driving results within the channel.

The Marketing Manager will lead campaigns to grow market share, coordinate trade shows, and manage the creation of marketing collateral and training materials across multiple brands. Reporting to the Vice President of Commercial Marketing, this role will also assist in developing strategies for cross-selling integrated offerings, including lenses, frames, and other products.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Collaborate with Commercial leadership and BU Partners to develop and implement strategic marketing plans.
  • Partner with Commercial leaders and BU Partners to create and execute a cohesive market strategy for Essilor Instruments and its distributor networks to establish a national presence that is aligned with business objectives and focused on driving growth.
  • Oversee new product launches including launch communication, marketing plan, communication assets. training, and sales activation.
  • Develop and manage B2B programs, promotions, trade media and trade show presence leveraging full range of products to increase share and capture opportunity
  • Establish regular reporting cadence on sales and program performance against goals and suggest adjustments as needed.
  • Develop a structured process for customer evaluation of product lines, including logistics, tracking, and success metrics.


  • Lead and mentor direct reports in executing tactical plans effectively.
  • Create and promote marketing campaigns and develop resources, merchandising and POS strategies, working closely with external agencies.
  • Coordinate and develop successful trade show strategy and plan to ensure sales goals are met.
  • Develop and manage B2B promotions in collaboration with commercial and compliance teams to capture market opportunities.
  • Support new product launches, including marketing plans, communication, training, and sales activation.
  • Analyze Marketing Data to identify insights and propose successful and timely implementation of key programs.
  • Travel as required to meetings, training and tradeshows.
  • Maintain brand standards across all digital and print collateral.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B channel marketing.
  • Proven expertise in developing cohesive market strategies for distributor networks.
  • Strong focus on channel marketing and customer engagement.
  • Experience collaborating with sales and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including ROI analysis and handling complex data systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong budget management capabilities.
  • Experience leading or working effectively within cross-functional teams.

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
