What you will do
As Internal Auditor, you will assist the Audit Committee in managing the internal audit function in the areas of Internal Audit and SOX compliance. The following are key responsibilities for this role.
  • Manage the annual SOX 404 program in compliance with PCAOB and SEC requirements, including develop and execute: risk assessment, scoping, timeline, testing and review of controls, deficiency communication, and remediation efforts.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls documentation, including risk and controls matrices, process flowcharts, and narratives
  • Communicate the results of audits and advisory engagements (internal and external) through written reports, presentations, and meetings with management and the Audit Committee
  • Align with external auditors to build efficiencies and provide direct assistance for external audit engagements, including testing of IT controls for SOX IT and SOC2 audit support
What you need
  • Bachelor's degree required with accounting or finance preferred; CPA or CIA required
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in external or internal audit in public accounting or corporate account organizations
  • Experience in developing, testing, and maintaining controls for compliance with Section 404 is required, including strong understanding of PCAOB standards, SEC requirements and COSO Framework
  • MS Office Suite required; strong excel skills required
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $121,500 annually, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at NRC Health, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package. NRC Health is not currently hiring in DE, HI, LA, MD, NJ, RI, D.C. While this position may allow for a work from home environment, preferred candidates live in the Lincoln, Nebraska and surrounding areas.
