What you will do: As a Fire Alarm Inspector, you will be tasked with performing routine inspections, testing, servicing, and preventive maintenance on Fire Alarm systems and similar life safety product lines. How you will do it:
Working with low voltage wiring and associated devices necessary for low voltage equipment operation. Completing Service Acknowledgments with accurate coding via communication devices like laptops and hard copies. Adhering to a structured inspection schedule. Inputting, retrieving, and archiving inspection documents using a laptop. Executing minor repairs and programming adjustments to inspected systems. Providing technical training to less experienced inspectors and trainees. Ensuring timely completion of assigned inspections. Carrying out additional duties as required.
What we look for: Required
1 to 2 years of documented experience in fire alarm or sprinkler services. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programming schematics, and operational manuals. Familiarity with hand tools and multi-meter usage. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform necessary repairs. Capability to follow both verbal and written instructions. Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment and tools weighing up to 50-70 lbs. Willingness to work in challenging positions such as on ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, as well as in ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings. Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends, to meet client needs. Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines and protocols. Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses per National, State, and Local regulations. Successful completion of the Inspector Entree Course (Electrical or Sprinkler). Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record based on company standards. High level of customer service skills. A cooperative team player. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Strong organizational capabilities, positive attitude, and rapid learning ability. High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience with Special Hazards Fire Pump Experience Service Background NICET Level II Certification Backflow License Knowledge of sprinkler systems and extinguishers
