THE JOB: As an Account Manager with our MREP (MGM Resorts Event Productions) team, you'll be the driving force behind mid-sized corporate, social, and in-house events. From pre-planning through execution, you'll manage the details that make each event remarkable. You'll collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external vendors to bring creative visions to life, all while ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences. THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing all aspects of event planning and execution. Partner with our creative team to develop stunning presentations and creative decks that align with client goals. Generate pricing, negotiate contracts, and ensure all financial details are clear, accurate, and agreed upon. Proactively identify upsell opportunities, keeping up with industry trends, entertainment options, and cutting-edge technologies. Cultivate meaningful relationships with clients, vendors, and MGMRI departments to exceed expectations at every turn. Lead on-site installations, strikes, and client walkthroughs, ensuring flawless execution. Represent MGMRI at industry events, trade shows, and conventions to stay ahead in the event production world.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
1+ years of event planning, sales, production, or hospitality. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Suite and event management tools like Delphi or Social Tables. Industry certifications (CMP, CSEP, DMCP) and supervisory experience.
