Purpose:
High Precision Devices team is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager with a extensive background in supply chain operations to join our Boulder Operations team in supporting the manufacturing of our Quantum Cryogenic product portfolio. This position works cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, management, and suppliers to execute all aspects of supply chain management to achieve required outcomes in meeting business unit targets for revenue and profitability. Position is on-site at the HPD Boulder facility.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Management of all direct procurement activities including on-boarding of suppliers, contract negotiations, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support manufacturing.
- Defining, implementing, and managing supplier quality requirements to ensure delivery of high-quality materials. (ship to stock)
- Develop mitigation strategies to manage supply chain risk to enable on-time delivery products to our customers.
- Develop key component procurement/stocking strategies to support sales outlook avoid shortages.
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) like supplier performance and quality to identify and drive improvement.
- Identify and realize cost-saving opportunities throughout the supply chain to improve gross margins across the entire portfolio.
- Drive continuous improvement in business process to improve resource efficiency
- Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain operations, procurement, planning, or supplier quality management.
- Relevant certifications like APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) a plus
- Relevant business experience in supporting the manufacture of complex electromechanical systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address supply chain issues.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a high paced, dynamic, team environment.
Work Environment
- This position operates in an office and laboratory setting. The ability to lift equipment or components up to 25lbs is required. Also, this role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
- Travel up to 15% of time possible.
The pay range for this role in Boulder, CO is between $109,300 and $143,430. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
