We're actively seeking a talented Private Credit Deal Closing Specialist to join our Private Asset Investment team in Newport Beach, CA. The Private Asset team manages a rapidly growing portfolio of over $20 billion of AUM and operates within the Pacific Life Investment division that manages over $130B of AUM.
As a Deal Closing Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating deals from trade approval through to funding, ensuring seamless execution and collaboration across all involved parties.

How you'll help move us forward:

Due Diligence: Coordinate due diligence processes, ensuring all required information is collected and reviewed.

Execution:

  • Documenting authorization memos, pricing confirms and trade tickets

  • Booking trade order in Bloomberg

  • Support swap indemnity letters

  • Capturing and storing final documents

Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams (legal, operations, treasury, compliance, risk management) and external stakeholders (banks, legal advisors).

  • Coordinating communications between internal and external stakeholders.

  • Communicating trade commitments to legal and operations

  • Coordinating portfolio allocations, signatures on legal documents, including swap indemnity and execution letters, wire authorization, and deal set-up in the surveillance system.

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with all parties involved in the deal, providing regular updates on progress and addressing any issues that arise.

Compliance: Ensure all deals comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements (e.g. OFAC).

Reporting: Generate and present reports on deal status, highlighting any potential risks or delays.

The experience you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, accounting, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, investment operations, or a related field

  • Strong organizational, multitasking and project coordination skills

  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g. Bloomberg, Tamale) and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with fixed income investments

  • Proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders and multiple tasks simultaneously

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$98,100.00 - $119,900.00
