What does a Data Scientist II do at Swire Coca-Cola?

As a Data Scientist II at Swire Coca-Cola you will be responsible for executing high-caliber data science and advanced analytics tasks, including modeling and AI/ML techniques across various channels, customer and consumer segments, markets, and product categories. The ideal candidate should possess practical experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Azure, utilizing these technologies to address intricate, real-world business challenges. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and deploying data-driven solutions, and effectively communicating the implications of findings to the business. If you have advanced machine learning use cases experience in a collaborative and dynamic environment, come join our team.

Responsibilities:



  • Leads business use cases to enhance revenue, reduce costs, increase efficiency, and mitigate risks using advanced data-driven solutions using innovative and designs tools from ideation to proof-of-concept, documenting work, addressing risks, and monitoring for bias and governance for transparency
  • Data Analysis and modeling applying statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze structured and unstructured data, delivering actionable business insights
  • Utilizes Databricks and Snowflake's advanced capabilities, such as Streamlit and Snowpark, for building scalable, high-performance data solutions, and integrates these with Microsoft Azure for seamless end-to-end data pipeline orchestration and analytics
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Product Managers, to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions by building and deploying machine learning models to address real-world business problems, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
  • Designs, writes, and implements maintainable scalable code solutions using Python and PySpark for engineering and model implementation within the Microsoft Azure cloud stack, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Azure ML Studio
  • ML Operations (MLOps): Implements and manages machine learning workflows using the Azure DevOps stack, including automated pipelines for model training, deployment, and monitoring
  • Stays updated with the latest advancements in Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure to ensure the organization leverages cutting-edge technologies.



Requirements:



  • Advanced degree Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related field required
  • 4+ years' experience using Python and SQL to drive real-world outcomes using analytics, statistics, and/or computer science experience required
  • Experience working with cloud-native data and databases such as DataBricks, Snowflake, Azure required
  • Predictive modeling analytics skillset AI/ML, data cleansing and feature design
  • Experience utilizing analytics systems, databases, and tools
  • Ability to independently explore new data to discover opportunities and trends
  • Up to 25% travel with overnight stays
