Position Title: AV Technician

Wage: $21.50 per hour

Shift: 3rd

Hours: 12:00am-8:00am

AV Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Maintain production on Automation lines.

- Requisition from Warehouse supplies and material such as resin, wrap, assembly parts, or cardboard based on production schedule and work instructions.

- Correctly mix material to work instructions.

- Monitor press use of materials to insure constant and adequate supply to maintain production.

- Monitor and remove defective and rejected products on the lines to eliminate downtime due to overflow.

- Process and grind rejects as required.

- Palletize completed production.

- Inspect and measure machined product to verify conformance to specifications.

- Package and label machined product according to work instructions.

- Transport completed pallets.

- Use pallet jack or forklift to transport completed pallets to warehouse staging area.

- Follow correct procedure for removal of pallet from automation lines.

- Accurately enter production number into ERP system.

- Work as an engaged member of the Automation team.

- Maintains a safe and clean working environment following safety procedures and policies.

AV Technician Requirements:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

- Ability to write simple correspondence.

- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

- Forklift certification or ability to become forklift certified.

- Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

- Frequently required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

- Occasionally required to sit and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

- Regularly pull pallets weighing 900-1300 pounds.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
