Advantage Resourcing is looking for talented individuals in Santa Ana, CA, to join a company dedicated to driving economic growth and societal progress. We are currently hiring a Portfolio Accounting Analyst who is ready to take the next step in their career.

Pay: $28 - $31 per hour, Depending on experience.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

As a Portfolio Accounting Analyst, you will provide technical assistance to client teams and support key functions such as cash management, ticket preparation, timely fund investments, daily account reconciliation, and portfolio database maintenance.

Responsibilities:



  • Set up asset profiles in the trust accounting/reporting system
  • Maintain and update the trust reporting database, reconciling to other systems
  • Handle daily cash receipting, wiring, and fund investing
  • Journalize and reconcile daily cash and investment activities
  • Coordinate bond and loan settlements with the Operations Group
  • Review and reconcile overdrawn accounts
  • Respond to bondholder inquiries


Requirements:



  • BA/BS degree (Financial accounting classes preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in Mortgage/Accounting/Financial fields (entry-level considered)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
